Teeth Whitening

At Dentistry on Unley, we offer multiple cosmetic teeth whitening services; Zoom in-office whitening, and Colgate at-home whitening.

Over the counter whitening products will only remove stains on the outside of the teeth. Our professional whitening products whiten by breaking down the stain inside the enamel of your teeth, resulting in a greater and longer lasting lightening effect.

Please read the brochure below which describes the procedure for Zoom in-office whitening and the difference between the two whitening systems.

Zoom WhiteSpeed

The quickest, easiest way to effectively whiten your teeth is in-office treatment with Philips Zoom WhiteSpeed. Zoom WhiteSpeed is the only in-office system that has variable intensity setting so each treatment can be customised to maximise patient comfort. The system also includes desensitisers to help minimise sensitivity and protect your enamel. This in-office procedure is safe, effective and clinically proven to whiten up to eight shades—for a brighter, whiter smile in just one visit to our Adelaide clinic.

Whitening Terms and Conditions

  1. All patients undergoing teeth whitening must have a smile assessment appointment with one of our hygienists, where their suitability for whitening will be assessed. Not all patients are suitable for whitening and if this is the case, alternative options will be discussed.
  2. All patients requesting teeth whitening procedures must have had a thorough dental examination in the past six months. A hygiene appointment may also be necessary to prepare the teeth for whitening and to ensure the best result. Any necessary additional services may incur a fee and you will be provided with a written fee estimate at your smile assessment appointment.
  3. Individual results from teeth whitening may vary and are somewhat unpredictable. Your hygienist can give you an estimate but there can be no guarantee of results.
  4. All patients undergoing teeth whitening will be suitably counselled on the safety and risks of whitening and informed consent must be obtained before proceeding with any whitening procedure.
  5. The images used on in-practice whitening promotions are stock images and are not actual Dentistry on Unley patients. Any before and after images used are of our own patient cases and have not been enhanced in any way.

Dental Hygiene care
